Any member of the public may speak to any issue that is not agendized for public hearing at this meeting. Speakers will be limited to three minutes during this item and at public hearings. There will be a thirty (30) minute aggregate time limit for this item, and speakers are encouraged to sign up in advance with the City Clerk prior to their participation.

When an issue has been designated as quasi-judicial, public remarks shall only be heard during a quasi-judicial hearing that has been properly noticed for that matter.

The Chair at this time will announce those items that have been given a specific time to be heard, and will entertain motions from the Commission members to table those items that require research. The Commission may agendize by majority consent matters of an urgent nature which have come to the Commission's attention after publication.

A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, approving Task Authorization No. 20-11S and authorizing the appropriate City Officials to execute Task Authorization No. 20-11S with HSQ Group, Inc., to provide professional services for the design of the Tamarac Lakes Section 1 & 2 Water Main Improvement Project; including preparation of detailed plans and specifications followed by permitting, bidding assistance and limited construction administration support, in accordance with the City's Consulting Engineering Agreement as authorized by Resolution No. R-2016-80, for an amount not to exceed $149,744.50; authorizing the appropriate City Officials to administer the Contract; providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date.
d.TR 13407 - 6th Amendment to Contract with Broward Sheriffs Office

A Resolution by the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida Approving the Sixth Amendment to the Law Enforcement Services Agreement Between the City of Tamarac and the Broward Sheriff’s Office; Authorizing the Appropriate City Officials to Execute the Sixth Amendment to the Agreement for Police Services; Providing for Conflicts; Providing for Severability and Providing for an Effective Date.

e.TR 13409 - Amendment to the Agreement between the City of Tamarac and Jeff Ellis Management, LLC

A Resolution for the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, approving agreement amendment #4 between the City of Tamarac and Jeff Ellis Management, LLC adding to the scope of services the management of Waters Edge Park Splash Pad facility at a cost $30,607, plus the cost of chemical from March 1, 2020 – December 31, 2020; providing for an appropriation and expenditure of funds for the management of the Waters Edge Park Splash Pad facility; providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date.

An ordinance of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, amending Chapter 6 of the City’s Code of Ordinances entitled “Finance and Taxation”, specifically amending Article V Entitles “Tamarac Procurement Code” by updating and modernizing existing procurement means and methods; creating a veterans preference; providing for codification; providing for Conflicts; providing for severability; providing for an effective date.
