5.PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, approving replacement of City owned street lights; authorizing an expenditure of funds for an amount not to exceed the approved annual budget; utilizing ITB no. 16-17-029 solicited and awarded by the City of Miami Gardens, Florida, as the Lead Agency for the Southeast Florida Governmental Purchasing Cooperative Group; effective upon approval through November 8, 2020 or as extended by the City of Miami Gardens on behalf of the Southeast Florida Governmental Purchasing Cooperative; authorizing the proper City Officials to execute Contract Renewals; providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date.

e.TR13385 - Safeguard - Vacation of Easement

A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, approving a Vacation of Easement petition to vacate a portion of one (1) Public Water Utility Easement located on the Safeguard Self-Storage property more specifically located at 6101 W. Commercial Boulevard as further described in the legal description attached hereto as Exhibit “A”; (Case No. 2-P-18); providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date.

f.TR13395 - HOME – Approval of Interlocal Agreement - FY 2019/2020

A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, accepting the 2019-2020 Fiscal Year Home Investment Partnership (“HOME”) funds in the amount of $135,457 for a term retroactively commencing October 1, 2019 with an end date of September 30, 2021; authorizing the appropriate City Officials to execute an Interlocal Agreement between Broward County and the City of Tamarac for the  designation of subrecipient and providing for disbursement of HOME Program Funds for the Owner-Occupied Minor Home Repair Program, Fiscal Year 2019-2020, attached hereto as Exhibit “A”, and incorporated herein; providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date.

g.TR13396 - Authorize purchase of horticultural chemicals
A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida approving the purchase of horticultural chemicals; authorizing the appropriate City Officials to select, approve and award the purchase of horticultural chemicals annually utilizing competitive procurement methods with prequalified vendors; authorizing an annual expenditure from the appropriate accounts not to exceed the approved annual budget for said purpose; providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date.

h.TR13397 - Sunset Point Park / Veteran’s Park Improvements
A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, awarding RFQ No. 19-26Q to and approving an Agreement with CPZ Architects, Inc. For the Design of Sunset Point and Veterans Park Renovations at a contract cost of $258,705.00, a contingency in the amount of $25,870.50 (10% of the contract cost) will be added to the project account, for a total project budget of $284,575.50; providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date.

i.TR13398 - Purchase of Waste Water Lining Services
A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida approving the purchase of wastewater Lining services for wastewater mainline, laterals, and manholes, not to exceed the annual budgeted amount for said services; and authorize the appropriate City Officials to select, approve, and award the purchase of said services utilizing competitive procurement methods including, but not limited to, Vortex Services, LLC utilizing City of Tallahassee Contract No. 4523; SAK Construction, LLC, utilizing City of Port Saint Lucie Contract No. 20180197; and BLD Services, utilizing City of Largo Bid No. 19-b-645 in an amount not to exceed the approved annual budget for said purpose; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date.

j.TR13400 - Grant Award - Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)

A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida accepting a Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) award from the Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM) through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for the City of Tamarac Lift Station Generator Project in the amount of $431,668.50; authorizing the appropriate City Officials to execute a grant agreement and necessary documents pending legal review between FDEM and the City of Tamarac for HMGP grant funding in the amount of $431,668.50; providing for up to a 25% match in local funds in an amount not to exceed $143,889.50; providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date.
