AND THEY MAY THINK THAT I'M REPEATING MYSELF, BUT THIS IS ANOTHER ONE OF THOSE COMPETITIONS OUR FIRE DEPARTMENT COMPETED.

AND SO, FIRE RESCUE ALS TEAM, INCLUDING CAPTAIN MICHAEL BOHAN, LIEUTENANT MACE AND LIEUTENANT CHRIS CURVELO, AND DRIVER ENGINEER FRANCOIS AVRIL, THEY COMPETED WITH 30 TEAMS AT THE FIRST THEIR FIRST CARE CONFERENCE, AND CAME IN SECOND PLACE.

THIS CONFERENCE AIMS TO CREATE A COHESIVE AND COLLABORATIVE GLOBAL EMS NETWORK.

IT EMPHASIZES THE SHARED COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE IN EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES WHILE RECOGNIZING THE DIVERSITY OF EXPERIENCES, CHALLENGES AND SOLUTIONS THAT EXIST ACROSS DIFFERENT REGIONS.

SO, CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR TAMARAC FIRE RESCUE FOR EXEMPLIFYING EXCELLENCE.

ALWAYS. YES, AN UPDATE ON REPRESENTATIVE MCCORMICK.

SHE WILL BE JOINING US AT OUR UPCOMING COMMISSION MEETING ON WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 28TH, 2024, WHERE SHE WILL PRESENT A CHECK IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,050,000 TO THE CITY OF TAMARAC IN SUPPORT OF OUR TAMARAC REHABILITATION AND REBUILD PROGRAM.

THE FUNDING REQUEST HIGHLIGHTED THE CRITICAL NEED FOR AFFORDABLE HOUSING AND THE PRESERVATION OF THE EXISTING AFFORDABLE UNITS.

THESE FUNDS WILL ENHANCE OUR EXISTING PURCHASE ASSISTANCE AND MINOR HOME REPAIR PROGRAMS, WITH A PARTICULAR EMPHASIS ON ADDRESSING INSURANCE RELATED ISSUES WITHIN THE MINOR HOME REPAIR PROGRAM.

THE MURDER ON WOODLAND ON COMMERCIAL BOULEVARD, WEST COMMERCIAL BOULEVARD BY NORTHWEST 63RD AVENUE. NEWS RECENTLY TOOK PLACE AND WOUND UP DAMAGING A WALL, THE WALL THE CITY PUT UP FOR A HOMEOWNER IN THE WOODLANDS, AND THE FACT THAT BSO NEEDS HELP.

I'VE SEEN IT ON THE NEWS NUMEROUS TIMES.

I'VE SEEN THE VIDEO FOUR TIMES OF THE WHOLE INCIDENT.

IT'S OUT THERE AND EVEN TWO OF THE PERPETRATORS RUNNING AWAY, THEY LEFT THE CAR BEHIND, FOR GOD'S SAKES.

I MEAN, AND NOW TO HEAR THAT THEY NEED HELP IDENTIFYING THESE GUYS RAN EASTBOUND DOWN COMMERCIAL BOULEVARD AFTERWARDS.

A LOT OF THIS LANGUAGE IS SIMILAR TO WHAT THE BROWARD COUNTY ETHICS CODE, WHICH APPLIES TO THE CITY ALREADY.

SO AGAIN, ANY RESIDENT, ANY MEMBER OF THE COMMISSION CAN FILE AN ETHICS COMPLAINT.
