BUT KENDRICK IS GOING TO COME UP VERY HAPPY AND HONORED THAT HE SAID THAT HE WOULD BE MY RECIPIENT FOR THIS PROCLAMATION.

SO, WHEREAS EDUCATING THE PUBLIC AND HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE AND EARLY DETECTION OF MALE HEALTH PROBLEMS WILL RESULT IN REDUCING RATES OF MORTALITY FROM DISEASE.

AND WHEREAS MEN WHO MAINTAIN A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE ARE ROLE MODELS FOR THEIR CHILDREN.

AND WHEREAS MEN'S NATIONAL NATIONAL MEN'S HEALTH WEEK IS A CAMPAIGN TO HELP EDUCATE MEN AND THEIR FAMILIES ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF POSITIVE HEALTH, ATTITUDES AND PREVENTATIVE HEALTH PRACTICES.

AND WHEREAS MEN'S HEALTH WEEK FOCUSES ON A BROAD RANGE OF MEN'S HEALTH ISSUES INCLUDING HEART DISEASE, DIABETES, PROSTATE, TESTICULAR AND COLON CANCERS. AND WHEREAS THE RESIDENTS OF TAMARAC, ESPECIALLY MEN AND BOYS, ARE ENCOURAGED TO INCREASE AWARENESS OF THE IMPORTANCE OF A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE, INCLUDING REGULAR EXERCISE, MEDICAL CHECKUPS, AVOIDING TOBACCO USE AND VAPING, AND PREVENTING ILLNESS AND PROMOTING LONGEVITY.

JUST ON THE LAST YEAR, AFTER RIDING BICYCLES FOR 15, 16 MILES EVERY SUNDAY MORNING BEFORE CHURCH GOT A SMALL INJURY AT THE WATER PLANT, WENT FOR A TEST AND FOUND OUT I HAD CANCER.

SO, I WAS OUT OF WORK FOR LIKE EIGHT MONTHS GOING, GETTING TREATMENT, GOING TO THE HOSPITALS AND STUFF LIKE THIS.

BUT I'M HONEYMOON HAPPY AND PICK UP PROUD TODAY.

SO, I STAND HERE CANCER FREE AND I'M ABSOLUTELY IT'S ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.

JUST A POINT OF JUST A SMALL POINT OF PERSONAL PRIVILEGE.

I WOULD LIKE TO THANK OUR DEPARTMENT, OUR DIRECTOR, BECAUSE I'VE BEEN HERE 32 YEARS.

DECEMBER WOULD BE 32 YEARS FOR ME.

I'VE BEEN EMPLOYED HERE, AND I DID.

I HAD A PLETHORA OF TIME SAVED, BUT I DIDN'T HAVE OVER EIGHT MONTHS' WORTH OF TIME.

SO, THE DEPARTMENT AND THE GUYS, THEY GOT TOGETHER AND DONATED TIME TO MAKE SURE THAT MY MORTGAGE WAS STILL PAID AND MAKE SURE MY KIDS WAS ABLE TO EAT.
