3.PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

Any member of the public may speak to any issue that is not agendized for public hearing at this meeting. Speakers will be limited to three minutes during this item and at public hearings. When an issue has been designated as quasi-judicial, public remarks shall only be heard during a quasi-judicial hearing that has been properly noticed for that matter.

Members of the public wishing to provide comments to the members of the City Commission on any matter, including items on the agenda, may submit their comments by email to CityClerk@Tamarac.org. All comments submitted by email shall be made part of the public record. The City has authority under the City Code to regulate the manner in which public comments are made during any public meetings. Please be advised, the City will not read publicly any emails.

The Chair at this time will announce those items that have been given a specific time to be heard, and will entertain motions from the Commission members to table those items that require research. The Commission may agendize by majority consent matters of an urgent nature which have come to the Commission's attention after publication.

A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, confirming the appointment of Ann Harris Wynter as a Resident Appointed Trustee to the Firefighters Pension Board to serve a four-year-term ending January 26, 2026, or until a new appointment is made; providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date. 
e.TR13731 - Approve and Authorize New Large User Wastewater Agreement between City of Fort Lauderdale and City of Tamarac
A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, approving the Large User Wastewater Agreement with the City of Fort Lauderdale and the City of Tamarac effective through December 31, 2041; authorizing expenditures for wastewater transmission, collection, and disposal services, not to exceed the annual amount budgeted for said purpose; authorizing the appropriate City Officials to administer the Agreement; providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date.

a.TR13718 - Agreement with The Ferguson Group for Federal Lobbying Services
A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, approving Amendment #13 to the Agreement between the City of Tamarac and The Ferguson Group, LLC, for Federal Lobbying Services, extending the term of the Agreement for a one-year period effective February 13, 2022, at a cost not to exceed eighty-five thousand five hundred ($85,500.00) dollars per year; authorizing the appropriate City Officials to execute Amendment #13 to the Agreement; providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date.
b.TR13720 - City of Tamarac Federal Legislative Agenda
A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida' approving the City of Tamarac 2022 Federal Legislative Agenda; directing the City Clerk to transmit a copy of the City of Tamarac 2022 Federal Legislative Agenda to the National League of Cities, the U.S. Senators from Florida, Florida Congressional Delegation and the Broward County Board of County Commissioners; providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date.
c.TR13732 - First Amendment to Solid Waste MOU for Waste Generation Study
A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, approving the First Amendment to Memorandum of Understanding with Broward County and other participating municipalities regarding Collaborative Study and Subsequent Development of an Integrated Solid Waste and Recycling System, and authorizing the proper City Officials to execute said First Amendment to Memorandum of Understanding and effectuate the expenditure of the funds authorized by this Resolution; authorizing the expenditure of funds from the appropriate accounts; providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date.
