MY EXPERIENCE BACKGROUND COMES FROM THE AIRLINE INDUSTRY, HAVE 30 YEARS THERE.

I HAVE ABOUT 25 YEARS IN RETAIL AND ABOUT 20 YEARS DOING REAL ESTATE.

I THINK I COULD BE AN ASSET HERE BECAUSE I SEE THE CITY OF TAMARAC AS A GREAT CITY AND I SEE A LOT OF POSSIBILITIES.

I NOTICE THAT I HAVE ATTENDED A LOT OF THE MEETINGS THAT WE HAD BEFORE THE COVID TO GET TO KNOW A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE CITY.

AND I REALLY LIKE WHAT I SEE AND WHAT I HEAR.

I HAVE LIVED IN TAMARAC WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE TIME I WAS GOING TO COLLEGE SINCE 1982, BASICALLY.

I'VE LIVED IN WOODMONT, SUNFLOWER/ HEATHGATE AND CURRENTLY WESTWOOD.

MY CAREER HAS BEEN SOLELY IN CONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT IN THE SOUTH FLORIDA AREA SINCE APPROXIMATELY 1992, I'M SORRY.

AND I'VE BEEN VERY INVOLVED IN OTHER ISSUES WITH TAMARAC, MOSTLY ASSOCIATED WITH THE WOODMONT COUNTRY CLUB DEVELOPMENT WHEN I WAS LIVING IN WOODMONT AND I'M HAPPY TO BE A MEMBER OF THIS BOARD.

GOOD MORNING ALL. MY NAME IS THE SUJUNE BOW.

I'M A REGISTERED ARCHITECT IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA, A MEMBER OF THE AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF ARCHITECTS. MOST IMPORTANTLY, I'VE BEEN A CITIZEN OF TAMARAC FOR ALMOST 10 YEARS.

I AM JUST ELATED TO BE A PART OF THIS BOARD BECAUSE I'VE BEEN LIVING IN TEMPORARY DRIVING AROUND, SEEING THE CONDITIONS OF THE BUILDINGS, THE ONES THAT ARE REALLY GOOD CONDITION AND THE ONES THAT NEED A LITTLE BIT OF IMPROVEMENT.

AND I LOOK FORWARD TO BEING A PART OF THIS.

I'VE SEEN A LOT OF GROWTH IN THE CITY AND I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING MUCH MORE GROWTH IN

I BELIEVE IT'S BEEN ABOUT A TWO YEAR PERIOD.

I'VE LEARNED A GREAT DEAL BY SITTING IN THE SEAT.

I HAVE LIVED IN THE CITY OF TAMARAC FOR OVER 20 YEARS.

I PURCHASED MY FIRST HOME IN TAMARAC IN 2000.

I SERVE THE COMMUNITY, THE FOR PROFIT AND NONPROFIT ENTITIES, AND I AM INTERESTED IN CONTINUING AS EITHER THE CHAIR OR VICE CHAIR.

HI, I'M RICHARD HUGHES, I HAVE A BACKGROUND IN URBAN AND REGIONAL PLANNING AND A CERTIFIED PLANNER.

I'VE BEEN IN THAT FIELD FOR 20 PLUS YEARS, 20 PLUS HERE IN SOUTH FLORIDA, WORKING FOR THE CITY OF MIRAMAR, WHERE I'M CURRENTLY EMPLOYED.

PRIOR TO THAT, I WORKED IN A COUNTY OUTSIDE PHILADELPHIA FOR SEVEN YEARS DOING PLANNING WORK, MORE RECENTLY BECOME A CERTIFIED ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT THROUGH THE INTERNATIONAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL.

SO I HAVE TRANSITIONED A LITTLE BIT MORE INTO THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT SIDE OF THINGS.

I MEAN, THERE'S A LOT OF OVERLAP BETWEEN THE TWO FIELDS.

I'VE ACTUALLY LIVED IN DENMARK TWICE AS A SECOND TIME, LIVED HERE.

I LIVED HERE FROM 05 TO 12 AND MOVED AWAY AND THEN CAME BACK IN 2016.

SO I'VE BEEN HERE FOR THE LAST FOUR AND A HALF YEARS, SO ALTOGETHER ABOUT 11 AND A HALF YEARS. SO IT'S A GREAT COMMUNITY.

IT'S GOT A LOT GOING FOR IT.

AND I'M PLEASED TO BE ON THE BOARD TO TRY TO HELP CONTINUE TO SEE THE CITY GROW IN A POSITIVE WAY. IT'S THE FIRST TIME I'VE SERVED ON A BOARD LIKE THIS.

I MEAN, USUALLY I'M ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THIS WORKING FOR THE CITY OF MIRAMAR.

SO WHILE I'M FAMILIAR PROCEDURALLY WITH HOW THESE THINGS WORK, BEAR WITH ME.

I DON'T QUITE GET SOME OF THIS QUITE RIGHT.

EVEN THOUGH I'VE OBSERVED IT FOR A LONG TIME.

I HAVE NOT, AS I SAID, SERVED ON A BOARD LIKE THIS.

I WORKED WITH ADVISORY BOARDS BEFORE.

BUSINESS OPERATIONS, THE APPLICANT WOULD HIRE THREE EMPLOYEES AND WHICH CONSISTS OF TWO LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPISTS AND ONE ADMINISTRATOR OVERSEEING THE BUSINESS.

THREE TYPES OF ROOMS ARE AVAILABLE WITHIN THE FOUR SELF-CONTAINED NEIGHBORHOODS, THOSE ARE A SINGLE OCCUPANT STUDIO PROVIDED A TWO HUNDRED TWENTY FIVE SQUARE FEET.

THERE'S A SINGLE OCCUPANT LARGE STUDIO FOR ABOUT A TWO HUNDRED FIFTY SQUARE FEET.

AND THEN THERE'S A DUAL OCCUPANT ROOMMATE STUDIO PROVIDED A TWO HUNDRED AND SEVENTY SQUARE FEET. AND THEN ALL ROOMS CONTAIN A PRIVATE INDIVIDUAL, ACCESSIBLE BATHROOMS. AND THEN THE COMMON AREAS WITHIN EACH NEIGHBORHOOD CONTAINED SEATING FOR ALL THE RESIDENTS.
